As our community embarks upon a transformative era of reimagining our downtown core, we have an unprecedented opportunity to create a city where everyone is able to access the places, people, and amenities that make Rochester a dynamic and welcoming place to live and visit. Accessibility that starts with how people move to and through our city.
Fueled by a powerful lived experience as a non-driver with congenital nystagmus, Anna Zivarts is a renowned advocate for accessible transportation and accessible communities. She is a founder of the Disability Mobility Initiative at Disability Rights Washington and the #WeekWithoutDriving Challenge.
Please join us on February 11th at 6:30 PM for a presentation on the importance of transportation systems that work for all users, and the imperative of healthcare access for non-drivers.
This event is free and open to the public. A suggested donation of $10 helps to fund bike and pedestrian education statewide.
